News | Covid-19 | Say goodbye to the Airbus A380 Jumbo Jet

The Airbus A380 is the world’s largest commercial jet. The aircraft was first delivered to Singapore Airlines on 15 October 2007 (Reg. 9V-SKA). The first flight was a Singapore Airlines flight from Singapore to Sydney (flight status below). The A380 was built to defeat the Boeing 747. However, on 7 February 2019, Airbus Announced that it will stop the production of the A380 starting from 2021. Okay, that’s pretty shocking news. What’s more shocking is the recent Covid-19 pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic could actually kill the A380s. As many people know, the pandemic has caused many aviation problems. The ‘Killing the A380’ problem is the most dangerous problem and it represents how deadly a pandemic could be.
